My Reflections
I cannot seem to find my groove this term, so I am rating my physical well-being a 4, spiritual well-being 7 and psychological well-being 4. The positive things I have been doing daily is writing in my gratitude journal and posting inspirational quotes to my daughter who is away for college, each morning. These keep my spirits up. Physically and mentally I am exhausted from work, school and family.
My goal is to take a day all to myself to rethink and regroup. I also need to spend more time outdoors and start walking more. Spiritually, my goal is to start each morning with prayer.
I think meditation will be great to try. I need to find inner peace and balance. Also, the stillness would be great.
I found the relaxation exercise relaxing. I just had to stop my mind from jumping to the thoughts of all of the things I need to finish; a paper for class, water my plant, etc.

This class could not have come at a better time. It seems like my life is going at million miles an hour. This past week my daughters and I pulled off a surprise party for my husband. Now I am frantically catching up to get all of my assignments done by tonight. Each day, I try to live my motto to "stay in the moment". I know if I think too far ahead, my mind will go bananas. I definitely can learn to find inner peace in my life. The Journey On relaxation exercise was a great start, that slowed my mind and was really quite relaxing.
